Grind & seal is a concrete finishing process where the slab is mechanically ground to expose the aggregate and create a consistent, open surface, then sealed with a penetrating or topical sealer to protect the concrete and provide sheen.

The result is a durable, attractive floor that performs well in garages, workshops, and commercial spaces. It does not achieve the same depth of reflectivity as a true mechanically polished floor, but it is significantly more durable and better-looking than bare, painted, or epoxy-coated concrete.

Sealer selection depends on the use case. Penetrating sealers provide maximum durability and a natural look. Topical sealers provide higher sheen and are easier to clean. We recommend the right option based on your space and how you use it.
